Have you always dreamed of learning how to surf? Or do you want to challenge yourself by trying something new? Maybe you haven’t had a surf session in a long time and need a refresher? If you nodded your head to any of those questions then this Beginner Surf Coaching Experience is for you.
The Beginnger Surf Coaching Experience is a surf holiday package is curated for novice and beginner level surfers, ready to catch the surfing bug in Morocco. Let the Surf Coaches at Local Surf Maroc guide you through every step of surfing: from standing up on the board to riding the waves on your own.
We split groups according to ability and progression and keep our group sizes small with no more than 6 students per instructor, to make sure your experience is personalized. The Surf Coaches review surf conditions daily and on the spot to make sure the conditions are suitable for your progression and for you to get the most out of every surf session.
Particularly for novices, we recommend a minimum seven day Surf Coaching Experience to see the most progression in your surfing. However, any length of stay with us you will be sure to learn valueable surf theory and become comfortable with the basics, laying the foundation for you to take your surfing further in the future.
While we take surfing seriously, we aren’t a boot camp! Any surf lesson or activity can be skipped and an alternative activity arranged (please note some charges may apply), simply check out our Extras page for more inspiration. Your stay with us is your experience , and our aim is to make sure you leave Morocco with the best memories.

Check in is from 2pm, Check out is at 11am. However, your belongings can be held at the Surf House at your own risk with no extra cost with early arrivals or late departures.
Daily Schedule
At Local Surf Maroc, our focus in progression and this requires a personalized approach for each level we teach.
How do we do this? Surf Instructors check the conditions the night before and make a prediction on what time is best to surf and which surf spot is likely to be working at the Beginner Surfing level. This is to ensure that you get the most out of each surf session.
The times listed below are therefore tenative and subject to change as no prediction can be 100% accurate.
8:30am - 9:30am - Breakfast.
9:30am - 10:00am - Pack for the beach: get ready to surf!
10:00am - 10:30am - Check surf spots before making a final decision to settle down.
10:30am - 12:30pm - Time to learn! Your surf lesson starts on the beach before paddling out.
12:30pm - 1:30pm - Lunch time.
1:30pm - 4:00pm - Chill on the beach or paddle out again for supervised, independent practice of what you just learned!
4:00pm - 4:30pm - Pack up and head back to the Surf House.
4:30pm - 8:00pm - Down time to check out Taghazout Bay or schedule an Extra Activity.
8:00pm - Dinner time.
8:45pm - Video or photo analysis for the evening.
